Grupo Mexico Transportes (GMXT), the largest railway network in Mexico, covering over 10,000 km of tracks and extending its reach into the U.S. with operations in Texas and Florida, is embarking on a significant modernization journey. In collaboration with CloudMoyo, a prominent digital engineering firm, GMXT aims to revolutionize its railway operations by integrating advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

On January 6, 2026, GMXT announced its partnership with CloudMoyo to implement a suite of AI-powered solutions designed to enhance various aspects of its operations. The centerpiece of this initiative is CloudMoyo Crew Management (CCM), which leverages Azure technology, advanced analytics, and AI to improve scalability, efficiency, and agility across railway operations.

As a comprehensive solution, CCM addresses the entire crew management process for railroads, from crew deployment to tracking qualifications and ensuring compliance with Federal Railroad Administration regulations. By harnessing real-time visibility through advanced analytics, GMXT aims to streamline operations significantly.
