J.F. Lehman & Company Secures $2.2 Billion in Fund VI

J.F. Lehman & Company (JFLCO), a prominent mid-sized private equity firm, has announced the successful closing of its latest flagship fund, JFL Equity Investors VI, L.P. This impressive achievement marks a significant milestone in the firm's history, raising a staggering $2.23 billion on December 11, 2024, and representing the largest offering since its inception 33 years ago. The fundraising effort greatly surpassed its initial target of $1.6 billion, reflecting strong confidence from investors in the aerospace, defense, maritime, government, and environmental sectors.

The raised capital will enable JFLCO to continue executing its well-established investment strategy, leveraging over three decades of specialized industry expertise and extensive operational knowledge. This allows the firm to assist companies in reaching their maximum potential. As a result of Fund VI, the firm's total assets under management will rise to an impressive $7 billion as of November 30, 2024.
