Documentary Screening: "Ashley!!"

This essential screening showcases the experiences of Takahito Akatsuka, a well-known author and speaker, during his remarkable tours in Israel over the past three years. Through the lens of Akatsuka's captivating lectures and experiences in Israel, the film aims to rekindle Japanese pride and the beauty that has been passed down for 2,685 years.
On the day of the event, Ai Toki, a prominent figure in organizing the event and a frequent travel companion of Akatsuka to Israel, will also share her insights. She will discuss the connections between Japan and Israel that she has witnessed firsthand and express the sentiments woven into the documentary itself.

Keynote speaker Ai Toki, who has traveled extensively with Akatsuka to Israel, will be present to share her perspective and the messages from the film. Toki's husband, Soichiro Toki, is also engaged in the production of Akatsuka Kokugakujo, disseminating Akatsuka's ideas and the history of Japan through various platforms including the successful YouTube channel, "Toki Soichiro's Prejudice Hearing Record," which boasts over 100,000 followers.

The film centers on Akatsuka's lectures and the members of "Takahito-en," who gather around him, documenting their experiences during the last three years of tours in Israel, with director Toyokazu Miyakawa at the helm.

Takahito Akatsuka

- - Born in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture in 1959. Graduated from Meiji University, later took over Akatsuka Construction founded by his father.
