Beginning on April 26, 2024, the project has introduced an exciting new content: a spectacular projection mapping featuring the beloved 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series. On the opening day of 'TOKYO GUNDAM IN THE FUTURE', approximately 4,000 eager attendees flocked to the plaza, filled with families and international tourists alike. Guests enthusiastically shared their impressions about the life-like experience. Many remarked that it felt like witnessing a real Gundam moving within the walls of the government building. Visitors from abroad expressed delight, stating they had seen projection mappings elsewhere but noted that Japan's presentation held an unmatched level of intensity, showcasing the country's innovative content creation and technological prowess.

The 'TOKYO Night & Light' project stands out further as it has been recognized by Guinness World Records™ for its installation, which involves 40 of the brightest projectors creating high-resolution displays across a massive area of 13,904.956 square meters.
