Summer Event at Container Culture Museum
The Container Culture Museum, operated by Toyo Seikan Group and located in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is set to host a summer event specifically for elementary school students on August 7th and 8th, 2025. This exciting two-day event offers a range of activities designed to engage young minds with the world of containers.
Event Highlights
During the event, participants can enjoy a quiz rally while exploring the museum, hands-on crafting experiences using containers, games, and fun cap art. Children can harness their creativity with available materials, encouraging them to see everyday containers in a new light. In addition to these fun activities, the museum will host a special SDGs workshop titled “Unraveling the Mysteries of Container Circulation” aimed at upper elementary students. This workshop will focus on sustainable consumption, highlighting the importance of sustainability in our everyday lives.

SDGs Workshop “Unraveling the Mysteries of Container Circulation”
In the workshop, children will learn about various sustainable practices related to the containers they use daily. The program covers the lifecycle of containers from raw materials to recycling and emphasizes the value of resources. It aligns perfectly with their school assignments and is structured in an engaging way.
Workshop Schedule:
- - Session 1: August 7 at 10:00 AM
- - Session 2: August 7 at 2:00 PM
- - Session 3: August 8 at 10:00 AM
- - Session 4: August 8 at 2:00 PM
Each session will last approximately 90 minutes and is limited to 12 students from grades 4 to 6. Pre-registration is required via the museum's website:
