Two Point Museum Release Announcement

Sega has officially announced the highly anticipated release dates for the quirky museum management simulation game, Two Point Museum, developed by Two Point Studios. The digital version of the game will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on October 29, 2025, while the physical edition will follow shortly on December 4, 2025. Both versions are currently available for pre-order!

Explorer Edition and Exclusive Pre-Order Bonuses

In addition to the main game, an exclusive Explorer Edition will also be available at launch. This special edition comes packed with unique content, including a jungle-themed map and a variety of explorer items and skins. Players who purchase the Explorer Edition can also take on exclusive missions that, once completed, will reward them with unique items and decorations to enhance their gaming experience.

As an added incentive, pre-order bonuses include various Sonic-related items, such as costumes that allow players to dress as Sonic and Shadow, plush toys available at the in-game souvenir shop, wallpapers, and decorations for the museum itself. In Two Point Museum, players will take on the role of a curator, managing every aspect of the museum, from design to operations. Venture out with a team of amateur explorers on thrilling quests to discover rare and well-preserved artifacts. The exhibits you collect can be freely displayed throughout your museum. As players pave paths for exploration, they’ll unlock new excavation sites and document their adventures in a travel diary, completing a sticker book along the way.

Players must also implement a robust security system to protect valuable exhibits from threats like thieves posing as visitors or children who might inadvertently damage displays. And don't forget to tend to your carnivorous plants!

Design Your Unique Museum

One of the standout features of Two Point Museum is the ability to personalize your museum’s layout. Organize areas by theme to guide visitors toward various exhibits. You can paint the walls of the display rooms, lay carpets, and arrange unique artifacts like ancient plants, frozen cavemen, and dinosaur skeletons to create a one-of-a-kind museum experience.

To ensure guests enjoy their visit, players can create custom tour routes with guides leading visitors through the diverse exhibits. A highly-rated tour can lead to increased donations, enhancing the museum's prestige. Adding amenities such as restrooms and gift shops is also crucial for boosting visitor satisfaction.
