MOL Safety Conference 2025: Enhancing Maritime Safety Globally

In a bid to enhance safe maritime operations, MOL Group, led by President Tsuyoshi Hashimoto, held the "MOL Safety Conference 2025" from February to April 2025 at five strategic locations around the world. Mumbai alone registered an impressive 208 attendees over two days, while Manila attracted the largest crowd with 301 seafarers in attendance.

The conference facilitated in-depth discussions centered on identifying and analyzing various risks inherent in onboard operations. Real-life scenarios were employed as case studies to promote effective dialogue among seafarers, thus expanding their understanding of safety management practices. Notable topics included the increased prevalence of cyber threats in tandem with the expanded use of ICT on vessels, and proactive measures to prevent harassment in the workplace.
