Telycam Unveils Cutting-Edge Vision+ 4KZ Box Camera for Professionals

Telycam Launches Vision+ 4KZ: The Next-Gen Box Camera

Telycam has made an exciting entry into the professional camera market with the introduction of the Vision+ 4KZ—its first box camera designed specifically for live production and Pro AV applications. This highly anticipated model promises to deliver stunning video quality combined with flexible connectivity options, meeting the evolving demands of content creators.

Addressing Market Needs

Jenny Liu, Telycam's co-founder and head of sales and marketing, emphasized the company's response to customer feedback. "Many customers appreciate the high visual fidelity of our existing Vision+ cameras but have projects that don't necessitate pan and tilt controls," she stated. As a result, the Vision+ 4KZ is positioned as an affordable fixed-position camera that retains the premium quality associated with Telycam's products.

Key Features and Specifications

The Vision+ 4KZ boasts impressive specifications, including the ability to capture 4K video at 60 frames per second, thanks to its robust 1/1.8-inch, nine-megapixel CMOS sensor. The camera’s 20x optical zoom capability enables users to achieve crystal-clear close-ups, ideal for various production scenarios. Furthermore, the camera allows simultaneous cropping of a 1080p HD output from the 4K Ultra HD feed, with an auto-framing feature that keeps the main subjects in focus without manual adjustments.

One of the standout features of the Vision+ 4KZ is its integrated side control panel complete with a color display. This interface provides real-time data on camera settings like the IP address and image attributes, complemented by five buttons that facilitate direct adjustments on the device. For those preferring remote management, the camera is compatible with a user-friendly, browser-based web interface and supports standard control protocols.

In line with Telycam's commitment to efficient AV and IP connectivity, the Vision+ 4KZ includes multiple output interfaces such as HDMI, USB, and streaming outputs like NDI® HX3, SRT, RTSP, and RTMP. Additional features such as 3.5mm line-level audio inputs and mini XLR (with phantom power) audio inputs enhance the camera’s functionality. The Vision+ 4KZ also supports Power over Ethernet (POE+), simplifying power management for users.

Addressing Compatibility Issues

Telycam has also focused on a common challenge in multi-camera setups—color consistency. The Vision+ 4KZ is designed to share the same premium lens, sensor, and image processor found in Telycam's Vision+ 4KN 20x PTZ camera, making it easy for users to maintain consistent visual characteristics when combining fixed and PTZ cameras during production.

Availability and Distribution

The Vision+ 4KZ is expected to start shipping in May 2025, with initial distribution occurring in the United States and Canada through Mobile Video Devices, Inc. For those eager to see the camera in action, Telycam will showcase the Vision+ 4KZ at the upcoming 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas, at booth W3231.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Telycam has made significant strides in the PTZ camera market, committed to advancing live production technology. The Vision+ 4KZ is set to further enhance Telycam's reputation as a key player in the Pro AV and broadcast industries, solidifying the company’s dedication to innovative, high-quality solutions for content creators worldwide.
