J.F. Lehman & Company Secures $2.2 Billion for Its Oversubscribed Fund VI



New York, December 11, 2024 – J.F. Lehman & Company, a prominent mid-market private equity firm, has announced the successful closing of its latest flagship fund, JFL Equity Investors VI, L.P., alongside related investment vehicles. The fundraising reached $2.23 billion, marking the largest offering in the firm’s 33-year history, significantly surpassing its initial target of $1.6 billion.

The newly established Fund VI empowers J.F. Lehman to continue its long-standing investment strategy, leveraging over three decades of specialized industry knowledge and proven operational skills. This fund aims to assist companies in maximizing their potential.

With Fund VI's launch, J.F. Lehman’s total assets under management will rise to $7 billion by November 30, 2024. Louis N. Mintz, a partner at JFLCO, expressed, “The exceptionally successful outcome of this fundraising effort reflects our demonstrated ability to identify value-driven companies, drive tangible improvements in our portfolio, and the substantial trust placed in our team.” Mintz further emphasized the commitment to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns as they deploy and manage Fund VI.
