LITEON Unveils the Future of AI-RAN at MWC Barcelona 2026, Integrating NVIDIA AI Aerial
LITEON Accelerates AI-RAN Commercialization at MWC Barcelona 2026
LITEON Technology has made significant strides in the field of AI-RAN (Artificial Intelligence Radio Access Network), showcasing its innovations at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona. The company emphasizes how GPU-accelerated architectures are poised to move the industry from innovation to commercialization. Leveraging the NVIDIA AI Aerial platform, LITEON is enabling scalable AI-native RAN solutions that are validated for compatibility, ease of integration, and quicker deployments.
One of the crucial components of LITEON's AI-RAN commercialization strategy is its Radio Unit (RU) architecture, which delivers stable and deterministic AI-RAN solutions at operator scale. Acting as the fundamental layer of the AI-RAN system, the RU guarantees consistent RF performance, high-precision timing, and predictable fronthaul behavior. This design allows effective and reliable operation of radio signal processing at both static configurations of the physical layer and AI workloads in multi-carrier and multi-cell environments.
LITEON's RU platform also supports deterministic O-RAN fronthaul 7.2x with standardized and reliable U-Plane and C-Plane operations, significantly reducing integration complexities and deployment barriers. This enables operators and ecosystem partners to scale AI-RAN deployments with increased confidence and faster rollout timelines.
Richard Chiang, General Manager of SLA SBU at LITEON, stated, "Ecosystem collaboration is critical for transitioning AI-RAN from trials to commercial networks. By closely cooperating with our AI-RAN partners, LITEON bridges the gap between 5G infrastructure and AI, building a flexible and open architecture that allows operators to deploy AI capabilities directly within 5G networks."
In line with its AI-RAN strategy, LITEON is teaming up with industry leaders SynaXG and Supermicro to integrate RAN and AI workloads under a unified architecture. By combining high-performance compute, accelerated networking, and SynaXG's AI-RAN software, LITEON enables low-latency AI inference at the network edge, unlocking new possibilities for intelligent networking applications. At MWC 2026, LITEON and SynaXG will present a demonstration highlighting how NVIDIA-optimized AI-RAN supports real-time analytics, intelligent optimization, and emerging AI-focused use cases.
Looking ahead, LITEON is committed to deepening its collaboration within the AI-RAN Alliance to expedite the global commercialization of these technologies. This will ensure the telecommunications sector is well-equipped to meet the future demands of data-intensive applications.
LITEON Technology will be present at MWC 2026 from March 2 to March 5 at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain, showcasing their offerings at booth 5J53 in Hall 5.
