BODYBAR Pilates Expands to North Raleigh
BODYBAR Pilates, an energetic and reformer-based Pilates studio, is set to open its second location in North Carolina this August. Located at
8111 Creedmoor Road, Suite 125 in Raleigh, this will be the first studio in
Wake County. The grand opening is scheduled for
August 31, and in anticipation, the studio is offering limited founder memberships that provide lifelong benefits including a
15% discount, no enrollment fees, and a complimentary class before opening.
The studio's owner,
Jaye Johnston, brings a wealth of experience, having transitioned from a successful career in healthcare leadership to pursue her passion for wellness and fitness. Jaye’s journey with Pilates transformed her approach to health, and she aims to provide a welcoming environment that encourages personal growth and community involvement.
Jaye’s vision for BODYBAR Pilates North Raleigh embraces a commitment to redefining fitness. The new studio will feature
3,019 square feet of space, complete with
14 reformers and a private training room. The studio is designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels with an array of classes that promote strength, balance, and overall wellness.
In addition to membership offers, BODYBAR Pilates North Raleigh has planned several engaging community events:
- - Community Mat Pilates Class on July 18 at 8 am, inviting locals to participate in a mat Pilates session at Lafayette Village.
- - Sip & Shop Studio Preview on August 6 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, allowing guests to meet the team, sample the studio’s offerings, and learn about upcoming classes.
- - Grand Opening Celebration on August 26 from 5 pm to 7 pm, which will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, and introductions to local vendors.
According to
Kamille McCollum, the chief brand officer and co-founder, the decision to open in North Raleigh is strategically aligned with the area's growth and strong fitness culture. With Pilates being increasingly popular, the studio is expected to thrive in this community setting.
Jaye Johnston's personal motivation stems from her health journey, which Pilates played a pivotal role in. “Pilates was life-changing for me,” she said, expressing her excitement about introducing the practice to more individuals in North Raleigh.
As part of BODYBAR Pilates' nationwide growth, this new opening will contribute to the network of over
85 studios across the country. The franchise aims to continue expanding, providing opportunities for fitness entrepreneurs while fostering a sense of belonging among members.
