Saiko Otake & Shoko Otake Exhibition "4 EYES 2 BRAINS"

The upcoming exhibition featuring the talented sibling artists, Saiko Otake and Shoko Otake, is set to take place at GALLERY X BY PARCO in Shibuya from June 20 to June 30, 2025. Both artists will showcase a collection of their new works alongside collaborative pieces, while also offering exclusive merchandise. The event promises to be an enriching experience, reflecting the unique perspectives and styles each artist brings to the table.

This exhibition is particularly significant as it marks the first collaborative endeavor between Saiko and Shoko Otake after four years. Their journey has led them down individual paths, and now they reunite to unveil a spectacular display of creativity that reveals the intertwined DNA of their artistry. As the duo combines their talents, visitors can expect a hyper-experiential art showcase that expands the boundaries of contemporary art through multi-dimensional expressions.

In celebration of the exhibition, a limited edition collage book titled "4 EYES 2 BRAINS" will be released by PARCO Publishing, with only 500 copies available. The book will feature groundbreaking printing techniques and materials, compiled by the Singaporean art director Theseus Chan, known for his work with the independent visual magazine "WERK." It juxtaposes their previous artworks with an extensive array of visuals that have inspired them throughout their artistic journeys.

Artist Profiles

Saiko Otake

Born in 1988, Saiko graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, in 2016. Her artworks encompass multidimensional perspectives expressed through various techniques, including drawing, painting, photography, and collage.

Shoko Otake

Born in 1993, Shoko graduated from the University of the Arts London, specializing in textiles in 2017. She creates unique prints based on everyday visuals, utilizing various materials to craft distinct works and has expanded into book illustrations, textile designs, and album covers.
