A New Chapter for ALESSI Store in Tokyo

On March 29, 2026, ALESSI will unveil its newly established store in the heart of Omotesando, Tokyo. Spanning approximately 172 square meters across two floors, this concept store is designed to embody the creative vision of the brand. It mirrors the recently renovated flagship store on Milan's Manzoni Street, as it aims to facilitate not just shopping but genuine discovery and interaction among visitors.

In an innovative blend of retail and leisure, the store will feature a specialized café space where patrons can enjoy authentic Italian coffee and beverages served in ALESSI tableware. The combination of a shop and a café creates an experiential environment on the first floor, inviting guests to linger and connect with both products and one another.

A Word from the Designer

Designing the space for this project is Naoto Fukasawa, a renowned product designer closely associated with ALESSI. His minimalist approach, characterized by bright oak wood, enhances the presence of ALESSI's signature objects through a careful balance of light and materials. The result is a comfortable space that resonates with the senses and genuinely reflects the essence of ALESSI's creations.

Fukasawa articulates his vision for the space succinctly: "The new ALESSI environment feels less like a store and more like a 'home.' It quietly reminds us of the essence of living."

Revitalized ALESSI Store Tokyo

The Tokyo store is making its return to a location that has long been a beloved hub for ALESSI enthusiasts in Japan. Inside, customers can explore an impressive array of approximately 600 items, ranging from classic bestsellers to the newest collections. This retail destination aims to present a lively exploration of design, with an expansive and diverse offering.

Additionally, visitors can indulge in a special design experience, sampling unique light meals and desserts that pair seamlessly with ALESSI’s iconic products. For example, guests can savor colorful panini served on “Itsumo-Yunoki Ware,” providing a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
