1. Exclusive Romanian Wine Tasting
Renowned for its long-standing tradition of winemaking, Romania boasts an impressive selection of wines. Guests will have the chance to sample three different types of high-quality Romanian wines that pair beautifully with Japanese cuisine. Each tasting comes with detailed explanations, allowing attendees to appreciate the depth of flavors and history behind these exquisite wines.
2. Special Event by Gabi's Kitchen & Café
The event will also feature a special appearance by Chef Gabriela, a renowned Romanian chef from Gabi's Kitchen & Café located in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture. She will sell limited-edition traditional Romanian sweets made using time-honored recipes. Attendees can indulge in delicacies like
Walnut Candy, traditionally served at important gatherings and offered to esteemed guests, alongside
Cozonac, a rich Romanian sweet bread, and the crescent-shaped
Semiluna cake.
Chef Gabriela’s acclaimed sweets will offer guests a taste of authentic Romanian hospitality and culinary traditions.
3. Tasting of Traditional Plum Jam “Măjun”
A staple on Romanian tables for generations, the traditional plum jam, known as “Măjun,” will be available for sampling as well.
