Celebrating a Year of Progress at the Water-AI Nexus Center of Excellence

The Water-AI Nexus™ Center of Excellence has officially marked its first anniversary during Climate Week NYC, showcasing its growth and various initiatives launched over the past year. Founded by prominent organizations including the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and Amazon, the center is designed to tackle the pressing challenges that arise where water management intersects with artificial intelligence (AI).

New Advisory Council Members

As part of this anniversary celebration, the center announced an expansion of its Advisory Council, welcoming significant contributors such as Veolia, WaterISAC, and the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturer's Association. This move aims to enhance collaboration among various stakeholders in the water sector, joining forces with municipal utilities, tech leaders, academic researchers, and advocates to develop practical solutions for sustainable water practices.

Two essential reports include Principles for Sustainable Water Use by Data Centers and Principles for AI and the Future of Work in Water.
