Outmarket AI Secures $34.5 Million in Series B to Enhance Insurance AI Solutions

Outmarket AI's Recent Funding Milestone

Outmarket AI, known for being at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation in the insurance industry, has recently announced a significant funding round. The company successfully raised $34.5 million in a Series B investment, a move that underscores its rapid growth and increasing importance in the sector. This funding round was led by SignalFire and saw contributions from prominent venture partners such as Fika Ventures, Permanent Capital Ventures, TTV Capital, and Dash Fund.

This latest injection of capital builds on a previous $17 million Series A funding round, bringing Outmarket's total funding to an impressive $56.5 million. Such financial backing reflects not just investor confidence but also the company's rapid adoption among agencies in a traditionally complex industry.

Unanticipated Growth and Industry Demand

Vishal Sankhla, the co-founder and CEO of Outmarket AI, noted that the decision to pursue further investment came sooner than expected, driven by overwhelming industry demand. Over the past year, Outmarket AI has seen its user base explode, surpassing 10,000 active users, including over 300 agency customers. Notably, more than 25% of the Top 100 insurance agencies currently utilize Outmarket AI’s platform daily, relying on it to streamline their operations and improve efficiency.

Sankhla explained that agencies are looking for comprehensive solutions rather than piecemeal applications. He emphasized that the future of the industry is about leveraging intelligent systems to automate workflows diligently, allowing insurance professionals to focus on high-value tasks.

Innovation Through Automation

In its commitment to this mission, Outmarket’s platform connects directly with Agency Management Systems (AMS). The integration facilitates the automation of intricate processes across various insurance fields including commercial, benefits, personal lines, and specialty insurance. Users have reported remarkable reductions in the manual workload associated with their operations. For example, the platform’s capabilities have led to decreased exposure to errors and increased revenue streams, particularly for professionals in employee benefits.

Outmarket AI is also moving towards offering capabilities for insurance carriers, which promises to enhance market connectivity and information flow, reducing the friction typically associated with manual data transfers.

Launch of New Features

As part of its latest developments, Outmarket introduced a new Certificates of Insurance workflow, which aims to automate a high-volume task that often leads to significant exposure risks for agencies. This innovative feature allows account managers to issue documentation swiftly and accurately, drastically reducing errors and turnaround times.

The rollout builds upon several recent product announcements, including an AI-powered loss run extraction tool and an intelligence platform that gives agencies a unified source of truth for their data.

Vision for the Future

Anshu Jain, CTO and co-founder, mentioned that the power of Outmarket's architecture lies in its ability to simplify both structured and unstructured data, enabling professionals to manage their workflows based on actual client interactions, agreements, and policies. This intelligent structure positions the company as a leader in the growing field of insurance technology.

According to Tony Pezzullo, a Partner at SignalFire, Outmarket’s swift capture of market share is remarkable, especially in the insurance sector, which has often lagged in technological advancements. Pezzullo believes that Outmarket is setting a new standard and hopes to continue on this upward trajectory.
