Her prior experience includes serving as the JPO’s ALIS and ODIN Portfolio Director and fulfilling key leadership roles across NAVWAR.

Moreover, in her previous industry roles, she notably directed Navy and Marine Corps growth initiatives at GDIT, navigating essential strategies and relationship management critical to military service missions. At Northrop Grumman, she oversaw a sizable $3 billion pipeline, successfully managing the acquisition process and securing major contracts with the U.S. Air Force and the Joint Program Office (JPO).

Tharp's educational accomplishments include a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in management from Harvard University’s Extension Division. Her profile is further augmented with various industry certifications in Agile methodologies, Security+, and aviation logistics, highlighting her comprehensive expertise in the field.
