Shinjuku 625's Long-Awaited Return with 'Nagareboshi'



After a hiatus of seven years, the acclaimed theater company Shinjuku 625 is set to present their much-anticipated performance of 'Nagareboshi' (流れ星) from November 12 to November 16, 2025. This exciting production will take place at Nakano The Pocket, located at 3-22-8 Nakano, Tokyo.

Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available starting October 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM via Confetti, operated by Longrun Planning Co., Ltd., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, under the management of CEO Daigo Kurumatsu.

Shinjuku 625 was formed in 2011 by five talented individuals from Mouse Promotion, seeking to create high-quality theatrical productions. For this performance, they turn to the heartwarming narrative penned by Takayuki Takuma, which is skillfully directed by member Yoko Sawami. The cast features a diverse range of talent, including the charismatic Gakuji Kawamura, versatile actress Ryoko Shiraishi, the elegant Kyoka Ozaki, skilled voice actor Wataru Kajiwara, the endearing Shinobu Matsumoto, and beloved character actor Takahiro Miyamoto, among others. Each performer brings their unique flair, promising an unforgettable portrayal of this story about the complexities of human connection.

Plot Synopsis


The story begins with Natsuko, who unexpectedly loses her husband. Amid her grief, a mysterious girl appears before her, claiming to be a magician who can grant her four wishes. As Natsuko yearns to turn back time to 1970, she embarks on a journey filled with self-discovery and truth, uncovering the realities of life during a time when Japan was thriving. The question lingers: what will Natsuko find in this nostalgic era, and will she achieve her heart's desires?
