Atlantic Natural Foods Completes Historic Sale of Its Iconic Brands
Atlantic Natural Foods, LLC (ANF), a well-known manufacturer of shelf-stable plant-based products, recently announced the completion of a significant transaction involving three of its key brands: Loma Linda®, neat™, and TUNO™. This acquisition by Century Pacific North America marks a pivotal moment in the company's long history and aims to provide continued access to these beloved brands for consumers worldwide.
In this transition, ANF has successfully concluded a bid process which included the sale of specific assets associated with Loma Linda®, neat™, and TUNO™. This undertaking was carefully approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, showcasing a commitment to transparent operations during turbulent times.
The journey undertaken by Atlantic Natural Foods over the past two years saw the gradual shifting of Loma Linda production into Century Pacific's operational framework. This involved moving selected equipment and allocating crucial resources to ensure a seamless transition. Leading this initiative was Kelly Krause, the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at ANF.
Douglas Hines, the Chairman and founder of Atlantic Natural Foods, stated, “Looking back at the past 20 years, it has been a unique journey. Our objective is to ensure that the next 20 years of food production benefit the plant-based community.
