Supporting B2B Startups Worldwide: Alchemist Japan Launches Third Program

Alchemist Japan Launches Third Program for B2B Startups

Alchemist Japan is set to open applications for its third entrepreneurial program, known as AJ Class 3, after the success of its first two cohorts which began in 2024. Designed to help B2B startups with strong technological capabilities, this accelerator aims to connect them with global venture capitalists and powerful networks. An introduction event is scheduled for June 25, 2026, in Tokyo, where interested entrepreneurs can learn more about the program and network with like-minded individuals.

Overview of AJ Class 3

The Alchemist Japan program is noteworthy for its global investment model. The program’s equity-based approach is targeted at exceptional B2B startups, inviting teams from Japan and across Asia to apply. Key program features include:

1. Global Standards and Mentoring

Participants will benefit from a hands-on curriculum led by top-tier coaches from Silicon Valley. Mentoring includes essential skills such as customer acquisition, business model development, and pitching to venture capitalists. The program also offers access to a unique social network called “Vault,” facilitating international connections.

2. On-Site Participation in San Francisco

Graduates from the Alchemist Japan program will participate in a two-week local readiness program in San Francisco, followed by a six-month flagship program that combines both online and in-person experiences. This format ensures a comprehensive understanding and integration into the U.S. market.

3. Learning the Enterprise Sales Playbook

One of the program's highlights includes acquiring a practical “Enterprise Sales Playbook.” This resource enables entrepreneurial teams to gain traction in the U.S. market and engage with large enterprises. The program is divided into specific tracks, such as SaaS/AI and Deep Tech, focusing on strategies for global traction and fundraising from international VCs.

4. Participation in U.S. Demo Day

Since its establishment in 2012, Alchemist Accelerator's alumni startups have raised over $6 billion in funding after their Demo Day pitches. Esteemed investors including Accel, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), and Sequoia are among those who frequently attend. The Demo Day platform is highly regarded for directly connecting promising startups with world-class investors. Notably, eight companies from Class 41 had already secured $14 million in total funding prior to the Demo Day scheduled for May 27, 2026.

Program Schedule and Venue

The program anticipates an application deadline of August 3, 2026, with the program commencing in October and concluding with the Japan Demo Day on December 8, 2026.

Event Venue

The program will be held at the Global Business Hub Tokyo 5, located in the Otemachi Financial City Grand Cube, Tokyo, 100-0004. For further details and application methods, interested parties can visit Alchemist Japan’s website.
