Pretium Strengthens Leadership with New Senior Managing Director
On December 3, 2024, Pretium Partners, a prominent specialized investment firm managing assets exceeding $55 billion, declared the appointment of
Sebastiano Visentini as Senior Managing Director and Head of Business Optimization. In this pivotal position, Visentini is set to spearhead initiatives that will enhance the efficiency, collaboration, and performance across Pretium’s broad operational landscape. He will also contribute to the firm’s Executive Committee, facilitating decision-making at the highest level.
Mr. Visentini boasts an impressive background with a solid record in financial institutions, corporate development, and innovation strategy. His previous role was at Morgan Stanley, where he dedicated 16 years of his career. Most recently, he served as the Head of Firm Strategy, Execution, and Innovation on the Management Committee. Previously, he was responsible for steering global strategic initiatives, overseeing various mergers and acquisitions, and driving corporate integration processes.
During his tenure at Morgan Stanley, he also held the position of Head of Capital from 2016 to 2020, where he led critical aspects of capital planning, including the firm’s annual stress test submissions to the Federal Reserve Board. His vast experience further extends to his time as a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group, emphasizing his deep understanding of the financial sector.
