CES Unveiled Europe: Shaping the Future of European Innovation

On October 30, 2025, CES Unveiled Europe took place in Amsterdam, providing a vibrant platform where more than 50 startups from over a dozen countries showcased their innovative technologies. The event, hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), brought together industry leaders, investors, and media, all eager to explore the advancements that will define CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.

Emphasizing European Innovation

According to Kinsey Fabrizio, president of the CTA, the event highlighted how an extensive ecosystem of emerging and leading brands is propelling Europe's technology sector. "CES Unveiled Europe highlights the impact of European technology and lays the groundwork for the radical innovations to be unveiled at CES 2026," she remarked, underlining the importance of this occasion in fostering technological progression in Europe.

This year's CES Unveiled was conducted in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and the European Innovation Council (EIC). Fabrizio kicked off the event with an insightful address reflecting on the industry's current status and the promising technological trends showcased during the event.

Trends in AI Technology

Brian Comiskey, CTA’s Senior Director of Innovation and Trends, shared critical insights regarding the role of artificial intelligence across various sectors. His presentation illuminated how innovation is paving the way for a better future, supported by new data on the awareness and adoption of AI in countries like France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

Among the survey's key findings, the UK workers emerged as leaders in both awareness and practical application of AI, saving approximately eight hours a week through automation and generative tools. Impressively, 89% of German workers rated generative AI as "extremely useful" or "very useful" in their jobs, signaling a strong inclination towards utilizing technology for content creation rather than mere task automation.

In the Netherlands, 66% of workers aged 18 to 28 integrated generative AI into their work, surpassing usage rates in other European countries. France recorded a high awareness level of generative AI, especially among workers aged 61 to 79, reaching 98%, yet only 37% of this demographic actively used the technology.

Engaging Panels and Networking Opportunities

CES Unveiled Europe hosted an array of dynamic panels featuring notable figures from both the public and private sectors. Executives from EIC, Keen Venture Partners, and tech giants like Microsoft and Prosus Group shared their insights on scaling businesses, securing funding, and leading through rapid technological transformations.

Additionally, a mentorship program connected founders with investors and industry experts, offering valuable guidance for business growth. Events leading up to the main showcase included the inaugural Music Technology Forum organized by the Music Business Association, which explored the intersection of music, technology, and innovation.

Highlights included a battle of pitches where entrepreneurs presented their innovative solutions to a panel of investors, culminating in Perciv AI winning a free booth at Eureka Park during CES 2026. This competition showcased the exceptional talent present in Europe and its contribution to the global tech landscape.
