Innovative Business OS Next Leaders Program Launching in August 2026

Launch of the Business OS Next Leaders Program

As the landscape of business evolves, the importance of fostering capable professionals has never been more evident. JMAM Co., Ltd., under the leadership of CEO Zhang Shi-luo, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, has teamed up with Growth X Co., Ltd., led by CEO Tsukamoto Kota, located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, to introduce a groundbreaking program starting in August 2026. This initiative aims to equip young and mid-career employees with essential skills in marketing and AI through the Business OS Next Leaders Program.

Rationale for Program Development

Amidst rapid advancements in technology like AI and the changing market environment, companies are increasingly required to capture customer and field insights, identify core issues, and leverage data and AI to create new value. JMAM recognizes that it is crucial for younger employees to develop perspectives that transcend departmental boundaries and enhance their problem-solving capabilities. By focusing on customer-driven marketing and the utilization of data and AI, they can emerge as agents of change within their organizations. Thus, the collaboration with Growth X has led to the crafting of this tailored program to foster these essential attributes.

Journey of Joint Development

This program combines JMAM's extensive expertise in leadership development and organizational design with Growth X's specialized knowledge in marketing, customer comprehension, and the application of AI and data. The curriculum emphasizes not just acquiring knowledge in these fields but integrating that knowledge with real-world business challenges. Built upon JMAM's growth cycle model VELCT (Visualize, Encourage, Learn, Continue, Try), the program covers everything from situation assessment to motivation, learning, dialogue within teams, and sharing outcomes.

Over six months, participants will not only focus on what to learn but also on how to effectively implement and practice that learning in real-world settings.

Key Features of the Program

1. Development of Cross-Disciplinary Skills
It aims to nurture talent capable of leveraging customer insights and AI/data in practical business scenarios. The curriculum spans a comprehensive six-month framework, focusing on common skills across functions necessary for business advancement, referred to as the Business OS skills. Prior to beginning the program, all participants will undertake a Business OS Skills 35 Assessment to understand their strengths and challenges.

2. Fostering a Common Language Across Departments
Monthly Common Language Meetings allow participants from various departments to share their learning experiences and engage in discussions about applying those insights to their company’s operations. This dialogue enhances understanding and cultivates a collective perspective towards resolving business challenges.

3. Linking Learning Outcomes to Business Solutions
The program culminates in a presentation session where participants share their findings and insights gained over the six months. They will propose improvement initiatives based on their discussions and learning, measured against initial assessments to demonstrate their progress.

Ideal Candidates for the Program

  • - Companies seeking to elevate their young and mid-career employees’ strategic thinking capabilities.
  • - Organizations aiming to directly apply AI and data insights to business operations and improvements.
  • - Enterprises wanting to translate training outcomes into tangible behavioral changes at work.
  • - Firms interested in promoting a culture of cross-departmental communication and dialogue.
  • - Businesses planning to cultivate future talent essential for their organizational or business growth.
  • - Companies desiring to visualize training impact for reflection and future planning.

Learning and Practice Cycle

The Business OS Next Leaders Program operates on JMAM's VELCT cycle, which emphasizes a continuous process of diagnosis, motivation, learning, dialogue, and practical application over six months. Instead of a singular training session, this structure encourages participants to reflect on their learning and apply it practically.

  • - Step 0: Visualize – Before the program begins, participants undergo a Business OS Skills 35 Assessment to gauge their skills.

  • - Step 1: Encourage – The program opens with a Motivational Session to deepen understanding of the program’s objectives and themes while encouraging engagement through peer dialogue.

  • - Step 2: Learn – Participants engage with content centered around customer insights and the application of AI/data each month.

  • - Step 3: Continue – Teams of 3-4 conduct Common Language Meetings to discuss and brainstorm on applying learned content to their unique business challenges.

  • - Step 4: Try – Finally, the program wraps up with a presentation session where participants articulate their proposals based on their team discussions and learning outcomes.
