Rinnai America Corporation Announces Perry McGuire's Elevation to Senior VP
In a strategic move, Rinnai America Corporation, known for its cutting-edge energy-efficient water heating solutions, has announced the promotion of Perry McGuire to Senior Vice President, overseeing Legal, Government Affairs, and People. This significant appointment comes as Rinnai aims to drive its business objectives while enhancing its workplace culture.
McGuire first joined Rinnai in 2020, serving as Vice President and General Counsel, where he made substantial contributions to the company's legal and compliance frameworks. Over the past few years, he has been pivotal in supporting various strategic growth initiatives throughout North America. With a background as a registered lobbyist, he has actively advocated for legislation that protects consumer choice concerning the variety of products and fuel options available to homeowners and trade professionals.
Frank Windsor, President of Rinnai America Corporation, commented on the announcement, stating, "Perry is a strong, strategic leader who has successfully guided Rinnai through complex legal and policy landscapes, which has supported our sustained growth. His leadership in safeguarding consumer choice and advancing our business aligns perfectly with the responsibilities of his new role."
In this expanded capacity, McGuire will take charge of Rinnai's People and Culture function alongside his legal responsibilities. This dual role indicates Rinnai's commitment to fostering talent development, aligning organizational strategies, and enhancing employee engagement as the company navigates its future growth phases.
"I am honored to continue contributing to Rinnai in this expanded capacity," said McGuire. "Rinnai’s focus on innovation, balanced energy policies, and commitment to its employees distinctly positions it in the industry, and I look forward to leading these efforts further."
McGuire’s professional history spans over two decades in legal and executive leadership roles, concentrating on corporate law, government relations, and business strategy. Previously, he was a partner at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, specializing in corporate law with a focus on franchising, mergers, acquisitions, and government relations. Notably, he served as an external legal advisor to Rinnai for over five years prior to joining the company’s leadership team. McGuire has an extensive background, including serving as a corporate attorney for Chick-fil-A, as well as being a former state senator and a candidate for Georgia's Attorney General in 2006. He holds a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Valdosta State University.
