Rod Hall’s legacy in off-road racing is historic, with an astounding record that includes 25 class wins at the Baja 1000, making him one of the sport’s most iconic figures. His legacy is encapsulated by an astonishing streak of participating in 50 consecutive Baja races. A Historic Debut

Competing under the name Shelby Hall Off-Road and with the support of LFI in Colorado, the team’s debut will feature Shelby alongside teammate Brady Melin, racing in a specially designed Bronco DR. Notably, this marks the first time an independent team will showcase this exceptional vehicle at the Mexican 1000.

The vehicle itself is a tribute to a historic partnership between Ford Bronco and of the legendary racer and builder Bill Stroppe. The enduring reputation of the Bronco for durability and performance in off-road racing is credited, in part, to Stroppe’s visionary innovations during the late 1960s and 1970s. Just like the Bronco that once carried her grandfather to success, Shelby’s vehicle will flaunt a special livery that pays tribute to that iconic design, further solidifying the connection to her racing heritage.
