SeaWorld Celebrates Independence Day by Honoring U.S. Military Personnel with Free Admission

SeaWorld Honors Heroes with Free Park Admission

In an inspiring gesture of gratitude, SeaWorld parks are celebrating Independence Day by honoring active-duty military members and veterans with complimentary park access. This generous initiative allows military personnel and their families to visit parks located in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego, as well as Aquatica parks in Orlando and San Antonio, completely free of charge. The complimentary tickets are meant to show deep appreciation for their service and sacrifices, as well as to create memorable experiences for these heroes alongside their loved ones.

For over two decades, SeaWorld has committed to providing military families with free admissions as part of their Waves of Honor program. This program has successfully allowed more than 10 million military members, veterans, and their families to create unforgettable memories at SeaWorld parks. From educational animal experiences to exhilarating rides, the parks promise a day filled with family-friendly fun.

Eligible service members, including veterans and retirees, can apply for free single-day tickets for themselves and up to three dependents before the deadline of June 22 at www.WavesofHonor.com. Once registered, all tickets must be redeemed by July 6, requiring participants to present a valid military ID during their visit.

Furthermore, active-duty military personnel have an added incentive. They can receive one free admission for themselves and up to three dependents per year and can take advantage of this offer in addition to receiving three extra complimentary tickets for dependents valid until July 6. Discounts and additional offers are also available for military families throughout the year via MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) and ITT (Information, Tickets, and Tours) offices located at U.S. military bases and online at the same Waves of Honor website.

Besides the free entry, SeaWorld is renowned for creating enriching experiences that foster care for marine life and support conservation efforts. It has been pivotal in educating guests about marine ecosystems and the crucial roles they play, all while ensuring entertainment experiences that captivate audiences of all ages. The parks present a range of activities that celebrate marine creatures, thrilling rides, and special events all throughout the year.

For more than 60 years, SeaWorld has made significant contributions toward marine conservation, achieving recognition as one of the largest animal rescue organizations globally. It has provided care for over 42,000 animals to date and invested over $20 million through its dedicated foundation since its establishment in 2003. This commitment to wildlife preservation extends beyond its parks and reflects the organization's overall mission of ensuring marine life protection.

As the United Parks Resorts (NYSE: PRKS) continues to innovate, SeaWorld remains dedicated to its core values rooted in education, conservation, and providing thrilling experiences. The parks not only entertain but educate visitors on the importance of marine life conservation, all while extending gratitude to those who serve.

In this celebratory season, SeaWorld encourages military families to experience the excitement and adventure its parks offer. Now is the perfect opportunity for military personnel and their loved ones to enjoy a day filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories. With a history of honoring U.S. military personnel, SeaWorld sets a beautiful example of community appreciation and respect for those who contribute so much to the nation’s freedom.
