Indeed, our Anniversary Cruise services see a peak in usage during the months of July and August, with demand soaring to about five to six times that of January or February. For years, summer has been considered the ultimate cruising season. However, a noticeable change has begun to emerge, especially since 2023, with more travelers embracing autumn as the ideal time for their cruising adventures.

Changing Perceptions of the Cruising Season

Though summer continues to draw significant numbers, new data indicates that cruising is becoming more appealing during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). By taking a closer look at the monthly usage ratios from 2015 to 2019, we can see a clear seasonal trend typical of summer activities: an increase heading towards summer, with a decline as winter approaches. Interestingly, the spike in December is attributed to corporate year-end parties.

Recent statistics from the past three years also show a promising growth in cruising during transitional seasons. While summer remains a high-traffic period, adjacent months like spring and autumn are increasingly being chosen for voyages, signaling a shift in public consciousness about when to enjoy cruising.

In fact, preliminary booking information for 2025 reveals that autumn reservations are outpacing those from the previous year, reinforced by the popularity of spring trips for graduation events and cherry blossom viewings.
