TENTIAL's CTO Seiya Ichiki Takes on New Role at Reviv
TENTIAL, a leading company in the HR technology space, has announced that its Executive Officer and CTO, Seiya Ichiki, will join Reviv as a technological advisor. Based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Reviv is dedicated to enhancing efficiency and decision-making in the hiring industry through the development of innovative CRM/SFA products and data analytics platforms.
Ichiki's involvement is expected to refine the product development process and elevate the company's scalable and robust system design as part of its broader technology strategy. With his extensive background in programming and engineering, Ichiki is well-prepared to contribute to Reviv’s mission.
From a young age, Ichiki has been immersed in the world of programming; he started coding in middle school and founded one of the largest programming communities at merely 18. He has built a distinguished career characterized by leadership roles, such as serving as CTO at ZEALS and leading engineering efforts at 3Minutes, where he was pivotal in transitioning the company to GREE Group. He has been instrumental in TENTIAL’s growth, guiding the company from its inception to a listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market, and is keen to drive further scalability in his new role at Reviv.
Ichiki's Vision for the HR Industry
In his own words regarding his new position, Ichiki highlighted the huge potential for technological improvement within the HR sector, stating, "The job industry still has many processes that are heavily reliant on individuals, and there is a significant opportunity for technology to drive improvements. The enormous wave of AI is about to fundamentally change the speed and depth of these improvements. Therefore, businesses fighting with their products must shift their focus to the nuances of UX that are rooted in operational clarity."
Ichiki's experience in setting up organizational structures from scratch across various companies has given him firsthand insight into the pressing challenges in hiring, evaluation, and development systems. He has keenly observed inefficiency in recruitment operations, the importance of building scalable teams, and the need to harness HR tech solutions effectively.
As he begins his advisory role at Reviv, Ichiki expresses confidence in the team’s practical insight and execution ability, foreseeing great potential in contributing to the scaling of the product and business.
Reviv's Leadership on Industry Challenges
Yuta Fujisaki, CEO of Reviv, also shared his thoughts about Ichiki's addition to their team. He noted how his personal experiences in the hiring industry have exposed him to widespread issues such as inefficient business processes and haphazard operations that arise from specific workplace circumstances. Fujisaki aligns with the view that these challenges need to be addressed through not just professional services but also tailored product offerings that support the recruitment activities of companies and agent firms.
Fujisaki emphasizes a consistent approach in seeing Reviv as a viable business entity and is convinced that Ichiki's involvement marks a significant turning point for the company.
