POLE to POLE 2026: The Ultimate Motorcycle Touring Experience
Mark your calendars! From September 19 to September 27, 2026, motorcycling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in a unique rally named
POLE to POLE 2026. Organized by the Japan Riders Forum (JRF), this rally will traverse the length of Japan, connecting the southernmost point at Cape Sata in Kagoshima to the northernmost point at Cape Soya in Hokkaido.
In a thrilling nine-day experience, participants will challenge their biking skills while exploring the diverse and breathtaking landscapes of Japan. The event will not only test riders' endurance but also promote self-management skills and a spirit of adventure, as they will confront the elements along the way. After a two-year hiatus, this much-anticipated event is set to raise the bar for motorbike adventures, introducing new classes that enhance the experience further.
New Class Introductions
This year marks the introduction of two new classes designed to heighten the excitement and challenge:
1.
ADVENTURE Class: This class requires participants to camp using event-provided tents and cots, ensuring a shared experience among riders as they adapt to the outdoor environment. This class has a limit of 170 motorcycle entries.
2.
NOMADO Challenge Class: The ultimate test of outdoor skills, this class requires participants to carry all their camping gear on their bikes and set up their own tents without assistance. With only 30 spots available, this class promises to be the most physically and mentally demanding.
The entire rally will be divided into five stages, each providing unique sights and experiences. Participants will have the option to ride the entire journey or register for individual segments, giving flexibility to those who cannot commit to the full challenge.
