Synopsis

Set during the Edo period, the tale follows the comedic duo Yaji and Kita as they embark on a pilgrimage to Ise. Their travels take an unexpected turn when they intervene in a dangerous skirmish involving thugs and a troubled figure, Daikichi Kazama. With Yaji and Kita’s assistance, they manage to quell the conflict, unveiling Daikichi’s backstory – his quest to reunite with his long-lost sister, Chiyo. The narrative weaves through themes of family ties and the quest for belonging, leaving audiences questioning whether Daikichi will successfully locate Chiyo and restore their familial bond.
