22nd Arts and Kids Event kicks off in Tokyo! Organized by the
Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra (located in Suginami, Tokyo and headed by Chairman Kunio Ishizuka), this year's event promises an unforgettable experience for both kids and adults. This concert and workshop event is scheduled to take place on
February 28, 2026, at the esteemed
Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
Concert Overview
The highlight of the day will be an orchestra concert themed "Discovering the Secrets of Rhythm through Orchestra." Featuring captivating Spanish dance performances, this concert is designed to be enjoyable and educational for children, ensuring an experience that is visually and audibly delightful.
The event includes not just the concert but also four engaging workshops along with a concert specifically designed for infants aged zero and up, all free of charge! It’s an enriching musical celebration where everyone, from children to adults, can appreciate music at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.

Note: Pricing is applicable for children aged 4 years to high school students. Children aged 0-3 years are not permitted but can use childcare services or attend the concert designed for infants.

Assistance Animals: Please register in advance if attending with a service animal.
One ticket per person is required; discounts for attendees with disability cards and special hearing loop seating are available.

- - Musicians: Members of the Japan Philharmonic (Chamber Music)
- - Admission Fee: ¥500 per person
Tickets will be available starting December 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM through the Japan Philharmonic Service Center.
