Tokyo's SNS Trouble Prevention Video Contest Awards
The significance of social media in contemporary society cannot be overstated. However, with its increasing importance comes the need for awareness regarding the potential dangers associated with SNS. Issues such as risky job offers, the publication of personal information, and the hazards of meeting people encountered online have raised concerns about the safety of young people in the digital age.
In light of these challenges, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government organized the
SNS Trouble Prevention Video Contest themed
“How to Use SNS: Avoiding Troubles”. This initiative aimed to educate the youth on safe social media practices while raising awareness about preventing online troubles. The contest invited young individuals aged between 13 and 29 to participate, resulting in a remarkable total of 361 entries, which comprised 162 videos and 199 static images.
After a rigorous selection process, the judges have announced the top entries, granting awards to fourteen works, including the
Grand Prize. The awards ceremony will be held as follows:

Judging Panel
The judging panel included notable figures:
- - Chair: HimaHima, Talent and Creator
- - Judge: Kyouhei Ishiguro, Anime Director
- - Judge: Posuka Demizu, Manga Artist and Illustrator
HimaHima, who serves as the chair, is known for their role as a reporter on Nippon Television's program
Shuichi. Kyouhei Ishiguro is celebrated for directing the theatrical anime
Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, while Posuka Demizu, famed for their artwork in the popular manga series
The Promised Neverland, contributed their expertise as a judge.
Following the award ceremony, a special website will feature the winners' works. The entries recognized with the
Grand Prize will be displayed across digital signage throughout Tokyo. For more details, visit
