Developed by Tysons & Company, this unique facility brings together T.Y.HARBOR's renowned brewery and NOZY COFFEE's dedicated roasting site, crafting a space for beer, coffee, and community interaction.

The Concept Behind 'BREWS'

The name 'BREWS' reflects the dual focus on brewing beer and brewing coffee, derived from the term 'brew' used in both crafts. Housed in a renovated warehouse aged over 70 years, this new establishment boasts impressive brewing tanks and coffee roasting machines, showcasing a studio of flavors that is unique to the facility. Visitors will have the chance to enjoy exclusive products that cannot be found elsewhere.

As well as serving delightful beer and coffee, 'BREWS' is set to become a hub for various community events, including brewery tours and coffee brewing seminars. It aims to foster connections among visitors through the spirit of craft, with plans for future events celebrating multiple craft products.

Since its inception in 1997, T.Y.HARBOR Brewery has marked its place as Tokyo's oldest craft beer brewery, combining excellent beers with a fine dining experience. Now, after three decades, it has made significant upgrades to its brewing systems by transitioning to a new, adjacent warehouse. This move allows them to automate production while enhancing both safety and product quality.

At the direct sales counter, customers can explore a range of canned beers and eco-friendly growlers, along with sampling various types of beers—including their exclusive 'Nitro Beer', which is infused with nitrogen for a unique tasting experience. Plans to provide brewery tours via an aerial corridor are underway to immerse visitors in the brewing process while connecting them with the craft beer scene in Tokyo.

NOZY COFFEE: A Pioneer in Specialty Coffee

Established in 2010, NOZY COFFEE has quickly gained recognition for its focus on single-origin coffee beans. With an expansion into Tennoz Isle, it will complement its existing roasting operation located in Harajuku. The new roasting site, along with an existing one in Kyoto that opened in January 2026, will increase their output while allowing for a broader selection of beans.

A notable aspect of NOZY COFFEE's approach lies in their close relationships with coffee farmers in South and Central America. They not only procure premium beans from award-winning batches but also support coffee producers by acquiring well-flavored low-grade beans for long-term partnerships. This allows them to sell these beans under the 'Green Label', making specialty coffee accessible at reasonable prices.

Unique Offerings at the Cafe

The on-site cafe at 'BREWS' will present an exciting variety of coffee, including multiple single-origin drip coffees and an exclusive 'draft coffee'. Utilizing a special German machine that has made its debut in Japan, this innovative iced coffee shares the magical experience of beer in its appearance and texture, made using beans steeped in T.Y.HARBOR’s beer.

Additionally, customers can indulge in upcycled food options, such as pastries made with spent espresso grounds or seasonal pies incorporating spent barley. These delectable offerings reflect not only the craftsmanship behind BREWS but also a commitment to reducing waste.
