Reply Expands International Competitions with AI Music Contest and Film Festival
Reply is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and engaging younger generations through technology. This year, the company is expanding its creative competitions with the launch of the
Reply AI Music Contest and the return of the
Reply AI Film Festival. These initiatives not only highlight Reply's dedication to advancing artistic expression but also emphasize the role of artificial intelligence in creative industries.
The Reply AI Music Contest
In collaboration with
Kappa FuturFestival, a highly regarded electronic music festival in Europe, the
Reply AI Music Contest invites young artists to integrate AI into their performances. The festival will take place in Turin from
July 4 to 6, 2025, where finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a live audience. The theme, "
Experience of a Beat," encourages participants to craft immersive experiences combining music, visual art, and audience interaction.
Contestants can submit performances lasting up to five minutes, and the entries will be reviewed by a panel comprising DJs, AI artists, Reply's tech experts, and media representatives. Judging criteria will focus on creativity, sound and visual integration, and the potential for live performance.
The Return of the Reply AI Film Festival
Alongside the music contest, Reply is reintroducing the
Reply AI Film Festival, which focuses on short films created using AI tools. This festival encourages filmmakers to explore the potential of AI across various stages of production, from scripting and storyboarding to visual effects.
Thanks to an exciting collaboration with
Mastercard, finalists will be invited to a premiere event in Venice in
September 2025, where the top three films will be crowned winners. This year's theme, "
Generation of Emotions," seeks to recognize cinematic works that evoke genuine emotions through AI innovation. The festival has attracted a discerning jury of experts from film, visual arts, and AI sectors to select the top ten original submissions, each limited to ten minutes in duration.
This edition also features two special awards: the
Lexus Visionary Award, celebrating innovative work that best embodies the vision of the future, and the
AI For Good Award, presented in collaboration with the
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to the film that highlights the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
According to
Filippo Rizzante, CTO of Reply, these initiatives aim to promote new technologies among the youth, providing platforms for creative experimentation. He stated, "The Reply AI Film Festival and the Reply AI Music Contest present unique opportunities to harness AI as an ally in the creative process, illustrating how collaboration between humans and technology can lead to groundbreaking new approaches."

Both global contests welcome entries from creative talents worldwide. Interested participants can submit their entries through dedicated online platforms:

June 1, 2025.
These competitions are part of
