NCPDP Welcomes Julia Vu as New EVP of Public Policy and Professional Relations
In a significant move to enhance its engagement and leadership in the healthcare sector, the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) has appointed Julia Vu, Pharm.D., as its new Executive Vice President of Public Policy and Professional Relations. Effective March 24, 2026, Vu brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this critical role in shaping healthcare legislation and standards.
A Leader in Healthcare Technology
Julia Vu joins NCPDP after a successful tenure at Elsevier, where she served as Vice President of Go-To-Market for Physician and Pharmacist Solutions in North America. During her time there, she led various strategic initiatives focusing on critical aspects such as artificial intelligence, clinical content, electronic health record (EHR) integration, and drug data interoperability. Vu's capability to bridge clinical practice with healthcare technology positions her as an invaluable asset to the NCPDP's mission.
With over 15 years in healthcare strategy and innovation, her contributions have been pivotal in launching clinical AI solutions that are now integral to EHR and e-prescribing platforms. Furthermore, her collaborative projects with prestigious organizations—such as the American College of Cardiology—underscore her dedication to driving significant advancements in the healthcare realm.
