Overview of the Certification Program
The Health Management Excellence Corporation certification initiative is run by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry alongside the Japan Health Conference. It aims to celebrate corporations—both large and small—that practice exemplary health management tailored to regional health concerns. The goal is to create an environment where these high-performing companies are recognized socially as being strategic in addressing employee health from a management perspective. Companies that achieve a high enough evaluation within the top 500 are designated as "White 500".
