HOUYUKAI Launches Administrator Training Program to Enhance Management Skills

HOUYUKAI's Administrator-Level Up Training Program

On September 12, 2025, HOUYUKAI, a social welfare corporation based in Setagaya, Tokyo, inaugurated its "Administrator-Level Up Training (Beginner Level) [Management Training Level C]." This program addresses managerial staff, including section managers, focusing on deepening their understanding of the corporate philosophy "Action by Glocalization."

The training aims to cultivate awareness and skills necessary for management roles, strengthen fundamental knowledge related to operations and systems, and enhance decision-making and adaptability. The benefits expected from this program include improved decision-making ability, prevention of issues through a solid understanding of laws and regulations, increased support capabilities for diverse personnel, including foreign staff, and deeper trust within the community and among the organization's members. HOUYUKAI is committed to elevating management capabilities through this training, contributing to the sustained growth of the entire organization.

Ceremony Overview

During the opening ceremony, key figures such as Chairman Hiroshi Katori, Executive Director Junichi Yamakawa, and Executive Director Yumiko Kawaguchi took the stage. They reaffirmed the corporate philosophy "Action by Glocalization" and provided valuable insights regarding the management skills and human resource development expected from administrators, along with brand strategies relevant to social welfare organizations.

The Q&A section that followed attracted numerous questions from participants regarding real-life challenges encountered in the field and human resource development. This engagement fostered a lively exchange of opinions, with attendees expressing their valuable takeaways. Feedback included statements such as, "The perspective as a manager has broadened, and I gained many insights" and "I found a starting point to consider how to implement the philosophy in real-life situations," making the first day of training an enriching learning experience.

Future Developments

The training will develop a systematic curriculum to ensure participants can acquire the necessary management skills progressively. Special emphasis will be placed on strengthening management capabilities, enhancing understanding of laws and regulations, and augmenting the ability to respond to diverse personnel, including foreign staff. The content will focus on practical aspects that can be immediately implemented on-site.

Furthermore, the knowledge and insights gained from the training will be reflected in the operations and human resource development across the various facilities, establishing a unified management style throughout the organization.

By promoting qualitative improvement in management and the overall sustainable growth of the organization, HOUYUKAI aims to be a social welfare corporation trusted even more in the community.
