From June 18 to July 31, 2025, THE LIVELY Tokyo Azabujuban invites both locals and visitors to partake in a unique cultural collaboration with Suntory's American whiskey brand, LEGENT. This event, aptly named “EAST MEETS WEST,” emphasizes the harmonious blending of Eastern and Western aesthetics and influences.

THE LIVELY Tokyo Azabujuban has positioned itself as a place where diverse people, information, and opportunities converge from around the world. It’s a space designed for discovery and stimulation for every visitor, offering not only hotel accommodations but also a vibrant social experience. The collaboration with LEGENT serves to enhance this mission, creating a setting for inspiration through cultural exchange where guests can engage with both Japanese traditions and Western innovations.

Event Highlights

Visitors can look forward to a variety of exciting activities during this collaboration:

1. Exclusive Themed Cocktails: Special cocktails crafted for the event will be available at THE LIVELY BAR, showcasing the fusion of Eastern and Western flavors. A total of nine different cocktails will be offered, each priced at 2,300 yen, reflecting the essence of “EAST MEETS WEST” through taste, aroma, and presentation.

2. Special Cocktail Nights: For three select nights, guest bartenders will showcase their skills in creating exquisite cocktails, inviting attendees to relish one-of-a-kind experiences. Notable bartenders such as Shun Kosaka from Quarter Room and Kota Akasaka from Mixology Salon will elevate these events.

3. Live Music Encounter: Transforming into a music bar during the event period, THE LIVELY BAR will feature warm, analog sounds produced from vintage speakers and tube amplifiers. Guests can enjoy meticulously curated playlists focusing on jazz and retro J-Pop, enhancing the overall atmosphere.

4. Bonsai and Mindfulness Experience: Attendees will have the opportunity to appreciate exquisite bonsai arrangements, regarded as “living sculptures.” This tranquil experience aims to instill mindfulness and offers a unique interaction with Japanese art and craftsmanship.

5. Rakugo Night: On July 18, an exclusive “English Rakugo Night” will take place in the lobby lounge LIVERALLY. Esteemed performer Shinoharu Tachikawa will entertain guests with storytelling, showcasing the art of Rakugo in English.
