Bulat Utemuratov Foundation Provides 500 Apartments to Low-Income Families in Astana

Bulat Utemuratov Foundation's Generous Housing Initiative

The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation has recently made headlines with its compassionate gesture towards low-income families in Astana, Kazakhstan. The foundation donated 500 apartments to the Akimat (city hall) of Astana, illustrating its commitment to providing essential housing support to those in need. This act of generosity, valued at approximately 10.5 billion tenges, is part of the ongoing charitable initiative known as the Balamaken project, which aims to provide stable housing for vulnerable groups throughout Kazakhstan.

Comfortable Living Spaces in Modern Developments

The newly donated apartments are strategically located in modern residential complexes in Astana. These apartments not only offer comfort but also come equipped with essential amenities that promote safety and convenience, such as elevators, facial recognition systems, underground parking, and spacious courtyards. This thoughtful design provides residents with a secure and pleasant living environment.

Among the recipients of these apartments are teachers, medical professionals, emergency service workers, and other public sector employees, all of whom play a vital role in the community. Commenting on the initiative, Ainur Karbozova, CEO of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, expressed, "We are committed to providing tangible and long-term support to those who need it the most. Housing is a fundamental need, and through Balamaken, we aim to help families enhance their quality of life and look forward to a more stable future."

Heartfelt Voices from Beneficiaries

One of the beneficiaries, Yerlan Shaikhymov, a firefighter and a father of five, shared the impact this new apartment has on his family's life. He stated, "This apartment is incredibly important to us. It represents significant support for our family. We can now live with peace of mind and confidence in the future. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity."

The Balamaken project, which started in 2019, has already aided around 1,000 families, including persons with disabilities, large families, and victims of natural disasters, granting them permanent housing in several regions such as Aktobe, Akmola, Kyzylorda, and Turkistan.

The Foundation's Ongoing Commitment to Charity

Established in 2014, the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation is dedicated to charitable initiatives across various fields, including inclusion, education, health care, sports, and environmental conservation. Over the past decade, it has invested over 98.4 billion tenges in charitable projects across Kazakhstan, showcasing its commitment to uplifting communities and enhancing the well-being of its citizens. This recent donation of 500 apartments not only represents a significant financial commitment but also embodies the foundation's mission to make a positive, lasting impact in the lives of those it serves.

The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation continues to stand as a beacon of hope and support for those in need, reinforcing the idea that community support and cohesive efforts can lead to transformative change.
