A Glimpse at ETHICAL DESIGN WEEK TOKYO 2025
The
ETHICAL DESIGN WEEK TOKYO returns for its sixth edition from
October 22 to 24, 2025, and promises to be an engaging gathering of innovations aimed at creating sustainable urban environments. Organized collaboratively by
SENBA, which is committed to environmentally friendly space design, and
Hakutaku, specialists in enhancing human and societal communication experiences, this three-day event aims to expand partnerships and tackle social issues within the interior design and event sectors.
The theme for this year's event is
“TOKYO ETHICAL CITY,” which invites attendees to rethink urban space through an ethical lens, exploring avenues for future well-being. Attendees will have the chance to engage in a variety of enriching activities, including conferences, networking opportunities, company exhibitions, workshops, and markets, all held across various venues within
Toranomon Hills.
Venue Details
The main events will take place at
Toranomon Hills Mori Tower, specifically in the Atrium and Oval Plaza, and will also feature activities at
Glass Rock, a new venue opening in April 2025 designed for collaborative social issue resolution. The site has agreed to sponsor the event, further enhancing the communal aspect of ethical design.
Leadership
Mao Sakaguchi, a highly experienced Ethical Director with a background in ethical and sustainable business consulting, will oversee the event’s direction. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive career, which encompasses efforts to promote circular economy practices.
