Redcliff to Present First-ever Drone Show at Biwako Fireworks Festival 2026

This segment, taking place from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM, will incorporate 1,300 drones that will creatively synchronize with fireworks and laser beams, bringing the beauty of Lake Biwa and visions for its future to life in the night sky.

The drone show, designed around the themes of "Regional Charm," "Mother Lake Biwa," and "From Past to Future," will showcase Shiga’s rich natural beauty and local tourism assets, while featuring beloved characters that resonate with children. Yuta Hori, the show's director, emphasizes a narrative connection to the tourism concept "Shigarhythm," mixing visual storytelling with harmonious music. According to Hori, the goal is to create a singular visual tableau that merges both drones and fireworks, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
