Letitia Bridges Takes on New Role at The Permanente Federation
In an exciting development for healthcare leadership, Letitia Bridges, MD, MBA, has been appointed as the Chief Quality Officer at The Permanente Federation. This esteemed organization, serving over 12.6 million members through its integrated health system, prides itself on high-quality care and patient satisfaction. Dr. Bridges, who has a rich background in both clinical practice and leadership, will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of healthcare delivered to Kaiser Permanente members across the country.
With more than 17 years of experience within the Kaiser Permanente system, Dr. Bridges brings a wealth of knowledge and innovative strategies to her new position. Her past roles include regional medical director of Quality and Clinical Analysis for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, where she demonstrated a deep commitment to ensuring the highest standards of clinical care. As a member of the National Permanente Leadership Team, she will also serve as co-chair of the Kaiser Permanente National Quality Committee, focusing on comprehensive quality improvement initiatives.

She previously served as the area medical director and chief of staff for the Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center, leading a team of over 600 physicians to provide care for a large patient population across multiple facilities. Her extensive qualifications are backed by a robust educational background, with an MBA focused on operational strategy from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, alongside her medical education from Washington University in St. Louis.
