The third day of the Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) 2025 marked an important milestone in the global financial landscape. Fintech Abu Dhabi and RESOLVE played pivotal roles in this flagship event of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), attracting some of the most influential leaders from finance, technology, law, and dispute resolution.

Notable industry figures participated in highly engaging sessions, including Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase), Jeremy Allaire (CEO of Circle), Richard Teng (CEO of Binance), and Jennifer Johnson (CEO of Franklin Templeton). The discussions delved into critical topics like digital credit, regulatory innovation, institutional adoption of digital assets, and the future of banking.
A particularly compelling session led by Richard Teng focused on the volatility of cryptocurrency markets, questioning if crypto could ever evolve into a trustworthy infrastructure. Discussions among CEOs from Revolut, Capital.com, and others explored how fintech entrepreneurs rely on speed, regulatory clarity, and trust to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

RESOLVE 2025: Embracing Courage in Legal Frameworks
In parallel with Fintech Abu Dhabi, the RESOLVE 2025 event centered around the theme of "Courage," addressing international dispute resolution amid the rapid evolution of legal systems influenced by digital transformations. Global legal experts, regulators, business leaders, and policymakers came together for a day filled with keynotes and discussions on cross-border crypto regulation, AI-driven legal strategies, and their implications for global capital markets.
The UAE Minister of Justice, S.E. Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, delivered an impactful keynote on "Justice with Courage," highlighting Abu Dhabi's role in setting progressive legal standards. Keynote speakers such as Matthew Lewis (CEO of Hintsa Performance) and Marc Randolph (co-founder and former CEO of Netflix) shared valuable insights on navigating legal complexities with clarity and determination.
Exciting Developments and Partnerships
Throughout the day, several breakout events took place, including the AI Abu Dhabi Forum and the Blockchain Abu Dhabi forum. Noteworthy announcements included Galaxy Digital and the Eurasian Development Bank establishing offices in ADGM. SAAS Properties also unveiled its latest project, the Ritz-Carlton Residences on Al Maryah Island.
In total, 24 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, paving the way for partnerships between local and international companies like Blackrock, Finstreet, Swiss Re, and more.
