This particular session features Taichi Taniguchi, a digital government officer in charge of citizen services at the Digital Agency. His responsibilities include promoting the utilization of the My Number Card and leading projects for integrating services on smartphones.
With a runtime of 60 to 90 minutes, the seminar will include a lecture followed by a Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with industry leaders who are at the forefront of digital innovation. Speaker's Profile
Taichi Taniguchi was born in Fukuoka in 2000 and raised in Chiba. He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in agriculture. Having developed a passion for programming during middle school, he subsequently self-studied multiple programming languages, including Python and JavaScript. During his university years, he worked as an educational researcher for Nagase, where he participated in web application development and service planning. His journey led him to the Digital Agency in 2024, where he now works on enhancing public services through digital solutions.
Taniguchi’s unique perspective is rooted in his commitment to improving administrative processes and public services using digital technologies. The seminar promises an insightful discussion on how digital skills can be applied within government roles, providing attendees with a clearer vision of possible career paths.
