Celebrating International Women's Day
On March 9, 2026, a significant dialogue event called "W Dialogue" took place, organized collaboratively by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Daio Paper in anticipation of International Women's Day on March 8. This event aimed to enhance the understanding and sharing of each company's initiatives in promoting women's empowerment and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). With about 110 participants from both companies, including employees from various divisions, this initiative offered a platform for discussing strategies to leverage gender and other diversities to foster an inclusive work environment.

From Daio Paper, Vice President Hiroshi Yamazaki and Director of Diversity Promotion Toriyo Tanabe shared insights and personal stories revolving around women's success in their careers. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines was represented by Chief Communication Officer Sanae Sonoda and Head of Human Capital Strategy Division, Natsuko Kobayashi. They delivered powerful messages concerning women's roles in the workplace, underscoring the commitment both companies have towards fostering an environment where every individual can thrive.

In the second part of the program, two successful senior female executives from each company participated in a panel discussion focused on career development.
