TK Elevator Partners in Egypt's New Administrative Capital to Inspire Urban Mobility Solutions
In a significant move towards enhancing urban mobility, TK Elevator (TKE) has secured orders for 185 elevator units in Egypt's New Administrative Capital. This milestone reflects TKE's commitment to supporting innovative mobility solutions that are vital for the development of future urban landscapes. The recent contracts include notable partnerships with the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) and Misr Italia Properties.
The National Bank of Kuwait, a returning customer, has ordered 17 units of the enta300 and meta100 elevators for its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. This follows TKE's previous collaboration in 2019 when it supplied ten TWIN systems to the bank's corporate headquarters in Kuwait City. The seamless integration of these advanced elevator systems highlights TKE's dedication to providing exceptional and reliable service to its clients.
In addition, TKE is collaborating with Misr Italia Properties, one of Egypt's foremost real estate developers, for its prestigious project, Vinci – COMO Lakes. This luxury development, located in the residential heart of the capital, is planning to feature 40 TKE elevator units in its initial phase. The project is designed to set new standards in luxury living through sustainable, high-end villas that will define the skyline of the New Administrative Capital.
The New Administrative Capital is designed not only to be a political and administrative hub but also a vital growth driver for Egypt's economy. Plans for this city include a new presidential palace, a parliament building, embassies, strategic government districts, and various zones focused on business, finance, arts, and culture, complemented by expansive green spaces.
Jürgen Böhler, CEO of TK Elevator in Asia-Pacific, emphasized the company's role in facilitating urban mobility, saying, "TKE offers a full range of urban mobility innovations. As cities grow and change, our technology plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless connectivity for residents and visitors alike."
The Managing Director of TK Elevator Egypt, Ahmed Alaa, expressed excitement about this transformative project: "We are thrilled to bring TK Elevator's urban mobility solutions to the New Administrative Capital. Collaborating with established clients such as the National Bank of Kuwait is rewarding, and we are eager to see the development of Vinci – COMO Lakes. Our elevators, escalators, and moving walkways are essential elements for future urban infrastructures."
TK Elevator aims to lead the way in urban transformation, offering engineering solutions from design through installation and maintenance. Since becoming independent in 2020, the company has achieved impressive sales of €9.3 billion in the fiscal year 2023/2024, showcasing its strong global presence with approximately 50,000 employees and 25,000 service technicians. TKE continues to push the boundaries in urban mobility, motivated by its commitment to connecting people through innovative transportation solutions. No longer are cities limited in their growth — TK Elevator stands ready to propel them forward, beyond the present limitations.
In conclusion, TK Elevator's current projects in Egypt resonate with the company's vision of working alongside communities to enable smoother urban mobility. As the New Administrative Capital rises, so too does the promise of modern living, with TK Elevator playing a central role in this exciting transformation.
