The funding round was co-led by established investors Fifth Wall and At One Ventures, with additional contributions from other notable investors including Myriad Venture Partners, Starshot Capital, Alumni Ventures Group, and Earth Venture Capital. This influx of capital is set to propel Mojave's ambitious plans for its innovative air conditioning solution known as ArctiDry, which aims to redefine energy efficiency in commercial applications.

Founded with the mission of transforming the air conditioning landscape, Mojave has made significant strides since the introduction of ArctiDry earlier this year. This system has quickly gained recognition for its particularly high energy efficiency ratings, making it an attractive and sustainable choice for building management. The funds raised will play a crucial role in expanding Mojave’s sales and marketing initiatives, launching new ArctiDry product versions, and advancing ongoing electrochemical regeneration research. Moreover, a part of the funding will facilitate the scaling of manufacturing operations in accordance with Department of Energy protocols.

In just one year, Mojave has established partnerships with 19 firms that actively represent ArctiDry, and will continue to increase its market coverage across the U.S. in 2025.

The ArctiDry system stands out as a highly efficient liquid desiccant HVAC solution, boasting an impressive ISMRE2 efficiency rating of up to 11 lbs/kWh. With the potential to cut electricity consumption by as much as 50%, ArctiDry meets both temperature and humidity control needs without sacrificing energy savings. This innovation finds application in various sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, and manufacturing, addressing a growing demand for eco-friendly cooling solutions.

Industry experts have voiced enthusiastic support for Mojave's endeavors. Anastasia Istratova from Fifth Wall remarked on the intuitive design of ArctiDry for building owners, while highlighting the significant energy savings it facilitates. Dilip Goswami from At One Ventures praised Mojave’s technology for being the most environmentally friendly AC solution currently available, aligning with global sustainability efforts.

In addition to expediting ArctiDry's market presence, Mojave is gearing up to unveil their next-generation technology. The upcoming release of ArctiDry HP will mark a significant milestone, melding liquid desiccant systems with reversible heat pump capabilities. This innovation comes in response to emerging state regulatory demands, promising further energy efficiency and zero-carbon operation during winter months.

Mojave is also advancing its Department of Energy project aimed at showcasing the practicality of ArctiDry across diverse building types. Continuing field tests initiated in 2022 seek to underscore the system’s energy-saving attributes and reliability in real-world scenarios.
