Starting June 25, 2025, the MICASADECO & CAFE located in Kyoto will launch a tantalizing menu featuring fluffy shaved ice, perfect for welcoming the summer season. This establishment, operated by Independent Co., Ltd. and led by representative Kazumi Takao, brings a unique culinary experience with two standout flavors: the popular "Micasa's Uji Kintoki" and a Kyoto-exclusive "Micasa's Kuromitsu Kinako" featuring white miso cream.
Fluffy Shaved Ice Offerings
Micasa's Uji Kintoki - 1,650 yen (tax included)
This exquisite creation uses premium matcha sourced from Kitagawa Hanbee, a long-established tea merchant. Nestled within the fluffy ice is a rich cheese mousse, topped off with a house-made matcha cream and delicately sweet red beans. Completed with chewy shiratama, this dish allows patrons to truly savor the deep aromas and flavors of matcha that harmonize with every bite.
Micasa's Kuromitsu Kinako - 1,650 yen (tax included)
A classic combination of kuromitsu and kinako gets a special twist with the addition of white miso cream, exclusive to the Kyoto location. The finely shaved ice conceals the rich white miso cream, while the nutty kinako wraps around the ice, creating a delightful taste experience. In addition to the Kyoto store, MICASADECO has expanded its horizons with the latest installment, “MICASADECO THE PARK,” opening in March 2025 within the new commercial complex “Na no Niwa.” Focusing on a refined concept of WABI SABI, guests can enjoy a beautifully curated space offering a relaxing escape with a menu full of favorites, like the renowned fluffy ricotta pancakes and delectable egg benedict.
