'Path of Exile: Keepers of the Flame' Expansion Released
Grinding Gear Games has officially announced the launch of the latest expansion for their acclaimed title, Path of Exile, titled "Keepers of the Flame." Released just in time for Halloween, this new content expansion brings forth the terrifying legacy of Bleach, resurrecting it in a more sinister form. With the dark flames blazing once again, players can expect an array of new features including Bloodline Ascendancy Classes, Asynchronous Trade, a new Uber Pinnacle Boss, alongside numerous improvements and a new league filled with 40 fresh challenges.
Major Features of the 'Keepers of the Flame' Update
1. The Rebirth of Bleach
In this expansion, players will encounter Ailith, the founder of a secret monastery that has formed to contain the creeping threats from another realm known as the Bleach Lord. This encounter will take players into a reimagined chaos that unfolds as they face terrifying mechanics, including the Unstable Rift and formidable bosses like Vruun, the Marshal of Xesht.
2. Master the Genesis Tree
Within the Keepers’ monastery lies the Genesis Tree, a frightful creation device generating new resources and a feature called Graft. These live enhancement parts can fuse with a player's body, granting new abilities. Additionally, wielding Foulborn Currency enables these powers to evolve into even more horrific and potent forms.
3. Discover New Powers
Players will be introduced to new skill and support gems, such as the wand attack skill Kinetic Rain and the Living Lightning Support gem. The Bloodline Ascendancy Classes allow players to absorb the powers of defeated bosses, opening up countless build possibilities that are both devastating and diverse.
4. Face the Torments of Zana
The expansion adds three new Uber Incarnation bosses born from Zana's despair. High-difficulty battles await players seeking a challenge, with lucrative rewards upon achieving victory.
5. Asynchronous Trade System Finally Arrives
A much-anticipated feature, the Asynchronous Trade system allows players to trade items instantly, even while offline. Starting from Act 6, Faustus will manage trade requests and currency exchanges.
6. Challenge, Collect, and Conquer
The new Keepers Challenge League introduces 40 challenges along with exclusive rewards. Completing these challenges provides players with the Keeper of the Flame Armour Set. Furthermore, new supporter packs, “Champion of Theopolis” and “Verdant Magus,” come with exclusive cosmetic effects and bonus content.
