Standex International Appoints Samantha Stoddard as New Chief Financial Officer
Standex International Corporation, a key player in the manufacturing sector listed on the NYSE under the symbol SXI, has officially named Samantha L. Stoddard as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer. This pivotal appointment will take effect on December 1, 2026.
Samantha Stoddard arrives at Standex from JELD-WEN Holding, Inc., where she served as Executive Vice President and CFO. With a rich background in financial leadership within global manufacturing environments, Ms. Stoddard is poised to bring her extensive expertise to Standex, where she will report directly to David Dunbar, the company’s Chairman, President, and CEO.
In her new role, she will succeed Ademir Sarcevic, who has been both a key figure in the finance function and an executive overseeing the company's Electronics segment. Sarcevic is expected to shift his full focus on driving growth in that area once Stoddard takes the helm. Dunbar expressed his enthusiasm for Stoddard joining the team, highlighting her valuable experience and her ability to uphold operational and financial discipline. He believes her expertise will significantly contribute to Standex's growth strategy moving forward.
Stoddard herself stated her excitement about contributing to Standex's robust and diverse operations. She emphasized the company’s existing culture of operational excellence and expressed her eagerness to collaborate with the leadership team to foster profitable growth while creating long-lasting value for both customers and shareholders.
Samantha's previous tenure at JELD-WEN began in 2020, where she was instrumental in shaping the financial strategies of both North American operations and the global financial planning and analysis functions. Before her time at JELD-WEN, she held various senior positions at Honeywell International, culminating in her role as CFO of the Personal Protection Equipment segment. Her academic credentials include a master’s degree in accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Wake Forest University.
Standex operates across multiple sectors including Electronics, Aerospace and Defense, Scientific, and Engraving Hydraulics. The company boasts a global footprint, with operations in key regions such as North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
As the company gears up for this transition, Stoddard is expected to drive initiatives that align with Standex’s mission of sustainable growth and excellence in manufacturing. The upcoming changes at the executive level could herald new strategies and an enhanced focus on the electronics segment, propelling the company toward a bright future in diverse manufacturing landscapes.
